Kellan Lutz confirms his interest in the 'Conan' role

A couple of days ago, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Kellan Lutz officially confirmed his interest and potential for starring in the new Conan The Barbarian film.
He told E! Online's Marc Malkin that he was indeed in the running for the picture and that, if cast, he would portray a younger, different version of Conan than did the original's star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Of course, Lutz wasn't the only Twilight star to have shown an interest in leading the film.
New Moon and Eclipse co-star Daniel Cudmore had also auditioned.
According to E!, though, it's down to Lutz and Stargate: Atlantis star Jason Momoa.
"They're finalizing so they're trying to figure out what happens next," said Lutz. "If it happens, it happens."
