Rumors have been swirling that along with Rob Estes, Jennie Garth is also going to be dropped from the teen drama 90210. EOnline has an article where Jennie mentions her husband, Peter Facinelli.
As for what’s next for Jennie, whose 90210 departure was confirmed last week, Jennie herself tells me that she has “lots of irons in the fire,” including a children’s book, work with the American Heart Association and a new small-screen project with a certain Twilight star with whom she just so happens to be married.
“My husband [Peter Facinelli] is writing a script we’re developing for television,” Jennie tells me.
Who needs that silly ol’ ZIP code after all?

Peter Facinelli recently admitted that juggling between "Nurse Jackie" and "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" brought tears to his eyes. The 36-year-old actor opened up about the matter at the current Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour while promoting the second season of his hit Showtime medical drama series.
When asked whether it is hard to switch gears from portraying Carlisle Cullen to Dr. Fitch Cooper, he recalled the moment he broke down in tears. "I did a scene where I was crying with Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith) that came out of me just being emotionally exhausted," he said. "It wasn't written that I was crying and, all of a sudden, in the middle of the scene, I broke down and started crying."
"It felt right for the scene. I did takes that I wasn't crying in, but they felt like, because I was just dumped by Jackie and there was all this heavy emotions going on, it really worked for the scene," he further explained. "I think it was just me getting off an airplane, having three hours of sleep and just being that vulnerable. It hit me that hard. But, I enjoyed doing both projects, at the same time."
On the occasion, the husband of actress Jennie Garth also revealed that his Carlisle will have more spotlight in the third "Twilight Saga" film. "You know, what I like about the third movie is that you get to see a side of Carlisle you haven't seen before," he shared. "You actually get to see what his vampire capabilities are because there's some great battle sequences. It's my favorite book."
Peter Facinelli is known for his leading role on FOX's 2002 series "Fastlane". He has starred in a number of movies, such as "Riding in Cars with Boys" and "The Scorpion King", before landing the role of Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight Saga" series. He has finished filming for "Eclipse" in late 2009.

Out with the do-no-wrong doctor, and in with the vicious vampire . . . At least, that's the sentiment you might gather from hearing what
Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen" in
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse)
had to say about his part in the third
Twilight film.
[W]hat I like about the third movie is that you get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before. You actually get to see what his vampire capabilities are because there’s some great battle sequences.
What side, exactly? Well, in
Eclipse, Carlisle is right in the mix of the epic newborn army battle, and it's a common fact at this point that director David Slade and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg made a point of including the battle sequences in the film (a slight - but widely revered - deviation from the
Eclipse storyline in that the book is told from Bella's perspective and she is not present at Carlisle's fight scene).
It'll be good to see more of Peter Facinelli in the film, especially as a Carlisle Cullen who causes wounds instead of fixing them!

Pop and I are down in Pasadena for our annual pilgrimage to the Winter TCA! Our first day has been a blast so far, with CBS, Showtime, and The CW opening up the ceremonies. Stay tuned over the next week for lots of updates on your favorite shows and stars, but for now we're bringing you some highlights from the Nurse Jackie panel, courtesy of Peter Facinelli. Facinelli may play Dr. Cooper on the small screen, but he seemed equally interested in talking about his big screen medical role, as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Twilight — not to mention his love for Twitter (even saying that he'll ask Robert Pattinson to sign up for Twitter!) Here are some other highlights:
